Tesco Return Policy

Hi, I bought a frying pan from Tesco today but turns out it is too small for my stove. Does anyone know if I will be able to exchange it for a larger size or would I be wasting my time? Thanks. (btw I searched other threads but they seemed to all be about faulty goods)

Tesco seem to have a policy that if you do not have the receipt you can still get a refund less 7% of the price.

Sounded good to me, I did an exchange instead so can not be certain that I fully understood.
