Tourist Visas In Macau Or Hk?

Whats the latest info on HK/macau giving single or double entry visas and how long does it take?

Last August I applied for a tourist visa in Hong Kong and was told that only single entry tourist visas were issued at the consulate there. I picked up my Canadian passport at the HK consulate with the single entry tourist visa in it the next day.

Hong Kong is a consulate listed as being a location in China.

From reports I recall Hong Kong also want to see ticket out of Thailand and only do single entry visas.

Only single entry tourist visas issued in HK, but I wasn't asked to show a ticket leaving Thailand. All I did was fill out the application form, paid the fee and then returned the next day with my receipt to pick up my visa. Quite simple and straightforward.
