PATTAYA:--An Israeli Tourist died from a suspected heart attack in the early hours of Thursday at a Central Pattaya Hotel.

Earlier in the night the victim, Mr. Dan Bubis aged 56 had met a Bar Worker, Khun Yuparat aged 25 and the pair decided to go for dinner and then made their way back to Mr. Bubis’s Hotel, the Sutat Court in Soi Baokao.

The pair went to sleep but Khun Yuparat was awoken by the sounds of Mr. Bubis snoring loudly. Eventually Mr. Bubis went silent and when Khun Yuparat turned on the lights, she realized that Mr. Bubis had passed-away.

Pattaya Police Investigators were called to the location and determined that nothing suspicious was found and Mr. Bubis had no visible injuries or appeared to be on any medication.

so , dinner and right to sleep ? no sex ? a heart attack including Viagra during sex could be possible also. But I admit , it can be shocking to wake up near a corpse. RIP poor fellow.

I remember a girl once told me a customer had died in his sleep while she was with him. Ever since then, she only went Short Time. Her logic was if LT, he would want to have "Another go or three" and could end up dead as well.

The girls have feeling too. She will remember this a long time, I suspect.

Rotten luck he came to a country where people don't know about CPR. Good luck he went so peacefully, just slipped away.

A country where once they go to sleep nothing wakes them, not screaming, not shouting.......nothing.

Who is to say he went peacefully? RIP

the cynic in me suspects he cacked to avoid paying.

Now now....

.....and sorry for the girl.

I also would like to go this way.

Not sure if it should be with the missus or not.....there's arguments for both sides......wouldn't want to upset her but she's sure gonna be upset if I was elsewhere. Hate to go out on a bad note and get my photo turned upside down on the wall for 50 years.

Difficult one.

People actually do die in their sleep, even in Pattaya. Seems like he didnt suffer, so what more could a person ask for.

You've got a point. Also he had someone there to report the death so no issues with stinking up the joint.

LOL. So if you woke up next to a dead person, you'd administer CPR? That is hilarious. Perhaps you should hang at at some cemeteries, and bring back the dead. LOL.

However, because it was a foreigner who died, the Thai police have a special concern for the safety of foreigners, because they are afraid of getting a bad image of Pattaya as a tourism town.

A very recent study in Europe has determined "Sleep apnea" can cause a 30% increase in heart attacks and strokes due to the lack of oxygen getting to the heart or brain while sleeping. Also blocked arteries or Cardiac Arterial Disease sometimes show no symptoms and is call the silent killer. Good reason to having yearly check ups after 50.

Well he was happy the night before. RIP.

Why else would one administer CPR? No point in doing it on someone who's breathing.

Heads up.

In a study of American medical TV series, 75% of resuscitations were successful.

"Hang on for us Jimmy!"

"You can make it!"

"God saved him!"

This makes one wonder why doctors are known to get "no code" bracelets and tattoos.

Here's the reason:

92% of resuscitations are unsuccessful.

of the 8% "successful" only 4% return to live a normal life.

2% are vegetative.

2% are debilitated.
