Not quite my cup of tea but that's still the first reason I've ever heard for visiting a gym that sounded even remotely appealing. Free is also good.

Have you considered that the gym may not be for the likes of you? If you want those things, there is already a free gym in the park close to the Tourist Police station and another at a police box nearby.

Thought the title said FREE gym or did you mean a waste of money to erect it? If so, why decry it?

I hope this new exercise gear lasts and gets used. However, next time you're up there take a close look at the lamp posts that haven't been stolen. Any that were originally held down by four nuts now have only two, the other two having been taken by the scrap collectors.
