battersea
Hello all. I havte been living in Thailand since October last year and am now married (November 2012). I am a UK Passport holder and want to take Mrs Battersea to the UK in July for 6 weeks and then go to Paris , Barcelona and maybe Rome. Does anyone know if the Italian , Spanish or French Embassy is easier , more relaxed or more sympathetic to apply for a Schengen Visa ? Does the fact that i am married now make it easier ? 7by7
I can't say which embassy is easier; they should all be the same! You are supposed to apply to the embassy of the country you will visit first. That she is now the wife of an EEA citizen means that many of the questions and requirements wont apply to her; provided she is travelling with or to join you. Read the form etc. carefully. It should also be free; but some embassies charge a 'handling' fee!
