You do not even get close to understanding what you are saying yourself. First of all people travel a lot longer, secondly now prices are even higher on flights on top of that. Thirdly all the people they actually try to catch with this change, are not impacted by it, at all, period. As a cherry on top, even with the average tourist spending 12 days here only, or 95%, that means that the 5% in fact is more valuable than the entire 95%, use your brains perhaps. If you have 5% of tourists that stay 10-20 times as long while they spend the same, that 5% is way more sustainable for a country. This same 5% is usually what keeps most businesses even afloat here, else they bankrupt already. The bottom line is that you should actually provide to that 5% and not to the 95%, that is complete delusional, specially in a country that in fact has declining tourism, it is down already 16% since 2025.
