After visiting the UK 5 times on a Tourist Visa, my partner is going to apply for a Settlement Visa for the UK as my civil partner. My understanding of this process thus far is:

Applications online only, cost 39,000 Thai Baht, non-refundable. 3 month awaiting decision.

She needs to have the TB certificate and to pass the English Test and show a certificate.

Covering letter from me as sponsor together with Civil Partnership Certificate, bank statements, wage slips, copy passport etc. etc.

For my part as the sponsor, there is an Appendix Form 2, Financial Requirements. I was wondering whether we complete this form online or does it have to be submitted in paper format?

Also, is there any basic things that I have not listed above that I must be aware of?

Many Thanks,

Incorrect. I am asking about the procedure for the Settlement Visa, that is particularly if any members have recently done this and had to deal with the Appendix forms.

The Appendix is submitted in paper form, with the other documents. The application form itself is completed and submitted online. A printed copy of the application form should be submitted with the documents.
