Dell Laptop Batteries

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I could get a battery replacement for my aging Dell XPS M1530? The machine's running just fine and does everything I need but the battery's pretty much dead by now (soon 4.5 years old). If they're not too expensive, I might even get two to have backup during blackouts. I'd also like to recycle my current battery, if at all possible.

I live on Koh Pha Ngan if that is of any consequence - I expect to have to order by mail in any case.

I'd recommend you install an app called Battery Bar. In my experience of buying batteries from the Far East, they are often made with recycled cells and do not last as long as they're supposed to. Fortunately I've always managed to get a refund via eBay.

If you can't get one locally I'd go for one of the Chinese Ebay suppliers, 13 pages of them for that battery alone.

Chicog has the right idea with Battery Bar (there are other similar apps).

Get on the ferry and go to Surat Thani and go to Amorn. http://www.amorngroup.com/en/branch.php

They may have to send the battery pack to BKK, but they will install new cells.

If in BKK go to Amorn Old Siam Centre in China town they will do it the same day.
