is there some way to anonymously grass people up who overstayed their visa?

I dont usually do this kind of thing... thinking we should "stick together" etc but in this case this person is horrible, manipulative and highly abusive. I just got wind of the fact hes years overstayed his visa. Id like to see the back of him!

my mrs says its bad karma to do anything and should just leave him be, as he seems to be digging himself deeper into a hole.Grassing on him might be helping him, i think she thinks.

Fair play however, you may regret it, word gets around quiet quickly on this little island!

By the sound of it you not only want to see the back of him,you also want to put a knife in it also.

What has this guy done to you?....if you don't mind me asking.

Let the horrible guy dig his own hole and stay out of it yourself. All that informing on him does is bring you down to his level. However, if the guy is actually a physical threat then maybe informing on him is your only recourse.

Buffalorescue, what point are you trying to make?

Looking at some of your old threads, including, how does someone get blacklisted in Thailand, you live in Chiang Mai.

Unless some are just simply stupid, all expats here should know the location of Chiang Mai Immigration and how to get there, or for that matter any Immigration department pertaining to an area of residence. If you don`t, please let us know and I’ll draw you a map.

So why bother to ask us? Why not just turn up at Immigration and spill the beans on this person, or you could phone, send in a letter or even email them. Of course you would be required to give your full details and perhaps give evidence officially against this person, as I doubt they would bother to investigate on a report by an anonymous.

The problem is, to be able to go through official channels you would have to be squeaky clean yourself. Maybe your not and this is why you prefer to use more discrete and dubious tactics?

So if you are really serious about reporting someone as an overstay and for breaking the law, and if you’re not just a bag of wind blowing off some hot air, than here is your answer. Or what else would you prefer to hear?

My neighbours bar one are Immigration officers.

Frankly we (whiteys) are just not on their radar.

They are only bothered with people who may be a 'burden' on Thailand or be taking jobs from Thais.

(according to them) The average 'farang' makes 3 times the national average, legal or not.....

Go figure.

This lad's bird is being biffed by someone else and this is funny......
