Giving Notice On Lease

How many weeks should one give notice on a casual lease ie no lease documents etc.?

Have been in this small house here a year now.

I would say one month (or the amount of deposit paid) is reasonable with no actual lease contract.

Depends upon your relationship with the landlord but obviously the longer the better from his point of view.
