Thai - Cambodia Conflict Trump Threatens Tariff Talks Freeze Unless Thailand-Cambodia Ceasefire Is Reached
If Trump is serious & not just a blowhard, then he should stop all trade talks now. This might have an effect on those who wish to pursue the war on both sides. Talks on a ceasefire might actually start. If he does not then everyone will realise he is only master of the Art of Taco. -

Thai - Cambodia Conflict Cambodian Rocket Strike Kills One, Injures Another in Sisaket
Picture courtesy of Amarin A Cambodian rocket strike hit a village in Kantharalak district, Sisaket province, killing one civilian and seriously injuring another. The incident occurred in the early evening of 27 July, according to local authorities. A rocket, reportedly fired from Cambodian territory, landed in a residential area, causing widespread panic among villagers. The deceased and the injured have yet to be named pending family notification. Earlier in the day, Kantharalak District Chief Somkuan Singkham visited several evacuation centres and donation points in the area. He confirmed that 38 evacuation shelters have been set up to accommodate displaced residents fleeing the continuing hostilities. “We are doing our utmost to distribute rice, dried food, and essential supplies, but we still need more donations. The prolonged situation is making it increasingly difficult for people to access food and necessities, especially fresh produce, which is no longer available locally,” said Mr Somkuan. He noted that some shelters are overcrowded, leading to a shortage of toilets and other basic facilities. Authorities are working to install additional sanitation services as soon as possible. In a separate incident earlier in the day, Cambodian artillery shells fell on a civilian area, destroying property and killing two cattle. Fortunately, no civilians were present in the affected area at the time. Later reports also confirmed that a school near the border sustained damage from another artillery strike. A heavy shell exploded in the middle of the school’s playing field. There were no reports of casualties. Adapted by Asean Now from Amarin 2025-07-27 -
