Where's Your Paradise?

I'm in Udon Thani, the humidity, tourists & bugs (same thing) are unbearable. Was thinking of going South to a smaller place, an escape from .... and entry into a peaceful & beautiful land. North is out due to the 3-4 months of deadly pollution. So South, but a place with No lady bars, only good people. Where is there left in real Thailand? Or is there any real Thailand left?
