I am living in Uttaradit for about 6 years and I just wonder if any farlangs in the area would be interested in meeting once a week for coffee or dinner to exchange ideas and chat?? Languages spoken English or German

My lady's sister lives there so we visit once or twice a year.

Next trip up, I'd be delighted to have a chat.

I'll PM you. wai.gif

Hi guys,

I'm in Chiang Mai and want to get out for the weekend. I'b being driven crazy with hotels.com, agoda, etc., all recommending mediocre hotels and not advertising local guesthouses. I'd like to find a real guesthouse for this weekend--any suggestions.

It's sad that these big sites cut out the local guesthouses; even AmazingThailand was disappionting!
