PATTAYA:--Two boys aged 12 and 14 were commended by Pattaya Police on Tuesday for their honesty after they handed in a purse full of money which had been dropped by a motorcyclist in South Pattaya.

The boys, Master Jackgrit aged 12 and Master Waritorn aged 14 were walking home in the Pratamnuk Hill area on Tuesday Night when a motorbike passed them and the driver seemed unaware she had dropped her purse on the road. The boys shouted out to her to stop but she continued on.

Well done boys and very nice of Khun Wachapon to reward them with 1000 baht.

Ideal candidates to replace the outgoing local police chief.

Yes, well done boys. I hope Karma is good to you in the future.

It is a sad society when something like this is so out of the norm that it is reported.

But good on the lads, well done.

These honest boys should have been given a lot more than 1000 baht. I'm not sure how much money the lady had in her purse but I mean they should be given a scholarship from the Thai Government or a lot more to show kids that honesty is duly rewarded.

I would buy them dinner and a mobile card if I knew whop they were. GOOD ON YOU BOYS !!!!!!

I've never lost my wallet in Thailand but I have often left my phone, shopping bag on the bar/in a cafe and have always had someone run after me to give it back.

WELL DONE !!
