Best Supplier For Computer Peripherals (Speakers) Shipped To Cm?

Would someone please suggest a few good Thailand suppliers of computer peripherals, such as speakers keyboards, misc computer gear, which can be ordered by phone and shipped to Chiang Mai using credit card incl AmEx as payment?

Usually it is preferable to order via internet or phone rather than spending time transporting oneself to a Chiang Mai store in a Tuk Tuk, or other conveyance. If this were the US, then everyone would know where to get same day shipment of computers and computer components.

But being this is Thailand, I really do not know which source would be best. I would like to find a very good supplier and then be able to continually order computer components as needed without getting involved with ordering taxis every time I need a cable or a mouse.

I personally had a good experience with LAZADA.COM. I live in Bangkok and the two separate orders were both delivered the next day by courier. It would probably be by EMS to CM but they do ship promptly.

Though the website is in Thai, I found that GOOGLE translated it sufficiently to use. They do have fluent English speaking Cust. Service phone reps.

Just a follow up note, dddave: I did just visit the site of the company you mention. I found that they show only 2 credit cards VISA and MasterCard. I mentioned above that I am hoping to find a supplier which will accept AmEx for long-term purchasing. I have also found fairly good customer support from AmEx in the past when I ran into problems with suppliers.

But thank you, if you have any other supplier related ideas please let me know.

Why not just jump or your motorbike and drive to Panthip Plaza ?

Logitech makes very good stuff in several quality/price ranges and they sell most of it here.

Thank you, Spoonman for the invadeIT info. These people also do not work with AmEx, but I may just use Paypal. It is actually easier, and probably cheaper, to purchase and have components delivered than to "jump on a motorbike" which I do not have, and do not want.

And, rubberduck, thank you for the suggestion of Panthip Plaza where I will go next time I book, in advance, my conveyance. Finding or ordering Taxis here in CM is not what it is in BKK.

They are red and called 'songtaews' and they cost 20 baht. Can't open your eyes in Chiangmai for 10 seconds withouw seeing one of them laugh.png

but make it as complicated and expensive as you can, why not haha. just joking

Riding in one of those red things you mention, I have found that if you don't keep your eyes closed during the ride, they fill with dust.

And, again, thank you for the Panthip Plaza tip.

OldChinaHam , I would respectfully suggest that you get a Master Card or Visa, you will have noting but trouble with AMEX in Thailand

They have a very high transaction fees for merchants so Thai businesses will not honor them. The only exception will be large international chains that have world wide agreements with AMEX

I don't know the in's and outs of an amex card but can't you simply pay online with it like a normal visa ?

Infact Invade it will let you do a direct deposit as I do from my bank account into their K Bank account.

The problem with AMEX will be the same for a Thai online store as a "brick and mortar " store; it's the high processing cost to the merchant
