Help please. I have a three year old Acer 8930G which has started turning off by itself randomly. Thinking it may be the power supply adapter I purchased a new one. Following what would appear to be a dodgy windows update last week it would not load windows no matter what I did so I had no choice but reformat and start again. However when I tried to do this it again switched itself off before completing the windows vista upload. Having no choice in the matter I took it to a computer shop on the road just before the Tesco entrance in Nong Khai. They diagnosed the problem has being the thermal paste on the CPU and said they would replace this and reload windows. To cut a long story short after having the computer for three days they now tell me that they cannot fix it and to pick it up. Does anybody know anywhere in Nong Khai that I can get the laptop repaired please? sad.png
