An update to the above.

William Hill have just reopened their book, at 6/5.

Which basically means that they think there is as much chance of Suarez joining Arsenal as there is of him going to Real.

Didn't he say he wanted to leave the premier league because of media hounding? If i was a red i'd be very pissed of with this guy. Oh, thats of course if theres substance to this

Manchester City are ready to listen to offers for Brazilian right-back Maicon. The 31-year-old is behind Pablo Zabaleta and Micah Richards in the Etihad pecking order.

tbh, i couldnt understand why the f' they signed him in the 1 st place, not as though they were ever lacking decent cover there.

Who was the cover?

They had 1 fit recognised right back........ Zabaleta.

Also he had CL experience. Thats why they bought him.

Daily Mail says Mkhitaryan is off to BvB - but i'm not sure I believe it yet, he's been ping ponging from Liverpool to Dortmund for 2 weeks on Twatter. It would be the logical move though.

Didnt the only player that you have that has any hint of coming through the ranks, richards end the 2011/12 arguably as one of the most promising English right backs in the country?,

have to say its crap short term mentality, ideal time for a youngster to get a bit of first team exp ect ect , even if it were just sitting on the bench, but nah,,, lets wedge out,not even on a bit of youth with half a chance and an eye 4 the future. with That train of thought your club IMO, aint ever gonna permanently get to the heights that your neighbors have reached,

rijit, I answered your question. But because you dont like the answer, you have to come out with nonsense.

Richards was injured whilst playing for Team GB. He did his ankle in.

We had only one recognised right full back.

That is the reason why we had to purchase cover. Also, I am sure the fact Maicon had CL experience was a factor.

You made a statement........tbh, i couldnt understand why the f' they signed him in the 1 st place, not as though they were ever lacking decent cover there.

I was just putting you right that Richards was injured and they only had Zabaleta as recognised RB.thumbsup.gif

Question for you... You Spurs boys seem to be getting excited about the new season, so what would you expect Daniel to do, rijiit, if your RB Walker gets injured before the new season starts? Would you rely on your 'youth' to replace him?

thats a fair point jack , , we've got engu21 int adam smith as back up i could be wrong ,but at 22? he's probably not gonna make it as a first team regular, but ide like to think we'd put hm on the bench, and i'm sure we would, that sort of experience adds 000's to his eventual transfer value and alls welcome , is it not? , but in general ilike to think we'd have some sort of 'plan' in place and generally it seems we do,and it aint perfect but it seems to workhit-the-fan.gif . like when it was corluka/ hutton, we had walker and naughton out on loan that goes for rose atm.on the l/h/s. And we've bought right and left sided defenders in kaboul and verity that can play as a f/bac and c/b's, for all the money your club have whacked out,it seems the overall balance and long term planning of the squad aint quite right, well, that is for the wedge you've spent.

IF he bought Rooney, do you think he would sell Mata?

Do you have any idea how many Chelsea/Rooney shirts would be sold worldwide?
