And when the agent turned around again, gang leader was gone. Then getting through airport security to grab a taxi non-stop to Pattaya probably took all the effort of tying your shoe. I assumed that he got on a flight, which would mean that he had a passport, but upon reading again it's not clear where he went after giving Interpol the slip. I would have thought that it would be compulsory for escorts to inform the authorities of the transiting country (in this case Thailand) that they had a fugitive in tow.
