I'd be happy for the rain to come back again now - Had to ride past the Central road works several times tonight on the bike. Absolutely caked in dirt/dust - its blowing up like a desert sandstorm. bah.gif

Found out why we had the 5 hours without power two days ago - they had no more transformers in Phuket town and had to get one from Thalang (says my Thai landlord).

The Indonesian smoke has now reached to the south parts of Thailand.

Phuket News: Indonesian haze hits Thai South

Smog from bush fires in Indonesia has reached southern Thailand but the Meteorological Department says its impact is limited.

The department said strong winds are blowing the smoke towards southern provinces. The haze has been seen hovering above several provinces in the region, including Songkhla.

However, the level of dust particles remains within safe limits.
