Any news re: Toyota Hilux Vigo, New Model arriving, so the current model will be on sale with reduced price ?

If you google new 2014 vigo hilux , there are several sites on the topic.

From what i can gather it will be a complete remodel , looking similar to the US market Tacoma .

Not sure what engine it will have and even if it will have a big V for Thai market or not .

The next gen Hilux is launching here sometime next year (more than likely H2/2013). No leaked photos yet, but Toyota did go very hard on local webmasters the last time early pictures of the Camry leaked, so everyone's a little afraid to post now... Looks like we'll have to wait for the foreign press to snap pics and put them on the interwebs.

Unlike Ford, Toyota do not do big runout discounts. They might throw in more extras, or even offer super low interest finance, but don't expect any price drops.

Back on topic, there have been some rumors floating around in the past week or so saying we might see an unveiling of a production-close concept this November at the Motor show. Main launch will still be next year though.

My 2012 Vigo Champ 4x4 G didn't come with VSC vehicle stability control. The older 2011 models do, why would Toyota remove such a vital piece of safety equipment? Also dont be fooled by all the free accesories they offer you as they are crap. Ask for 20k discount and buy your own accesories.
