We need around 40 truckloads (5 cubes) of fill dirt for our plot of land prior to start a house build. Anyone had any fill work done recently that can refer/recommend to us. How much is one truckload costing these days, anyone know.

If you are going to build on the new dirt, as in concrete slab ... do you plan to let the dirt settle or have a plan to compact it?

It varies 350 per load in Doi Siket to 650 a load in Sansi. The dirt fill mafia does not like to cross over into another's area so you'll need to ask locally. Also you may get hit by your local authorities for a fill tax..
