Any pictures of the car????

Yeah, that'd be nice..Of course for our benefit for our advice the OP should get someone to take them with her modeling in it? thumbsup.gif

.....sorry.gif .............. I tried veeeeeery hard to resist that comment 1zgarz5.gif .....

On topic though, "stiff" steering is what did it for me, but seriously that sounds like a worn belt potentially slipping under stress and causing the steering pump to loose pumping capacity under load.

Wow sorry misunderstood, thought you were saying the car had been bought for you new 20 years ago and was still going.Yes that is a very high price even for the insane Thai second-hand market, no idea how the laws of depreciation have been repealed this side of the border.

Km are not important to the local market. At least the guy who sold the car was honest. Someone else would turn the odometer back. 140'000 Baht is the market price for this model. This is the price owerhere. Cars are expnsive overhere, but thats the way it is.

But if you look you will also see people selling older cars for more money than you have paid.

Sounds to me like you did not get the best deal, but you also did not get robbed.

Those Hondas (2000 to 2003) go for nearly 300 k. I gess the 150k was for downpayment
