Non immigration O multiple entry Singapore

Featured Replies

I was wanting to know if there are any difficulties getting a multiple entry visa from Singapore, My wife is Thai and i have had a multiple entry non immigration O multiple entry visa before which was issued from the consulate in Brisbane Australia, the process in Brisbane was very easy i just went to the consulate with my application form and a copy of our marriage certificate and a copy of my wife's id card both signed by her and i was in and out in 10 minutes with the visa in my passport. So if any one could give me any idea on what the requirements for Singapore to get the same visa as i can not find to much info on their web page

Many Thanks

Unlikely to get one in Singapore, but hang on a while in case someone knows different.

KL Malaysia and Savannakhet Laos are the best options.

KL want to see 100,000 Baht in your bank acc.

Savannakhet will issue without the need for bank funds at the moment.

Unless you are a resident or citizen of Singapore I would not even try. KL will issue with proof of 100k baht in bank account. Savannakhet will issue without financials. Be sure to have marriage certificate/copy and copy of both spouse ID card and home register. Also good to have letter from wife asking in case more proof is needed. Any other application in area may not be approved or require 400k in bank. Brisbane they are not.

The last time I was in the Thai Embassy on Orchard Road in Singapore was when applying for a new passport for my daughter, so on the way out I asked if there had been any changes to the application of a Non Imm. O multi entry visa based on marriage. The lady at the counter informed me of this letter that my Thai wife needs to write.

What are they wishing to see in this letter? The lady wasn't very specific.

Should the letter be written in Thai or English, have her address as the Tambian Bahn, is to actually confirm me as her husband or just serve as an "invite" for me to join her in Thailand?

We now live in KL, is the letter required when applying here also?

I have got this type of visa twice from Singapore before, but as pointed out above, I was working there and had a Singapore I.D. card.

By the way, the embassy was undergoing some huge changes there, a mass of building going.

KL will require show of 100k in bank account in addition to normal marriage certificate and copy of wife ID card and home register. Occasionally if there is a question that paperwork may be false or marriage may have ended the letter from wife will be asked to help prove current relationship (has been requested from only a few and at different locations over the years). Basically it only needs to ask immigration to issue a multi entry visa so you can be with spouse and be dated/signed.

Ok thanks.

I think Singapore is a No No unless you are a PR

Incorrect info.

I wasn't Singapore PR, only Employment pass holder, was issued with 2 x Non Imm O, 12 month visas.

Thanks to you all for your comment

I believe now having read a few different posting about non o visa that Savannaket will be my best option to get my non o multi entry visa and it will only be a few hours drive from where i am living and it should only be a 2 two day round trip from Khon Kaen with an over night in Savannaket

So once again thaks for you comments
