Forgot all about this thread CCC.....gonna listen to a few of these tonight! :D

Was still attending a Soul night in Hull till not so long ago....great people...vibe...and all the classics....feulled by smoke an energy....

Was still attending a Soul night in Hull till not so long ago....great people...vibe...and all the classics....feulled by smoke an energy....

When I went it was fueled by Smith Kline & French of Loughborough laugh.png

It's a bit different on the scene these days most get uplifted by the music.

There are still a few hardcore who venture on the wild side with half a Mild and a Gaviscon.

Purple hearts, Dexies. Mogadon. We did get uplifted by the music but weekends began on Thursday and finished on Monday. It was hard work staying awake for 5 days....

Most of the Northern Soul on this thread has been sixties related, however there was a lot of seventies Northern Soul which in my opinion was disco bogaloo nonsense.

This has to be the most famous 70's soul tune on the scene....enjoy.....if your into that of course
