there is not enough information in the OP to have a rational discussion about this -

Rational discussion on TV is a pretty rare event, even when there is copious and detailed information. sad.png

In the land of deceit, and where investigative reporting does not exist, we have little

choice but to speculate about what happens in cases like this . However

a fellow Brit was arrested so this case seems somewhat clear. An old case, it is

interesting that the accused murder is being allowed to go home for Christmas.

Gee I wonder if he will come back for his murder trial......

Family of man killed in Thailand devastated after suspect allowed home for Christmas

The family of a Liverpool man killed in Thailand are devastated after his suspected murderers trial was put on hold until next year. Darren Taylor, 34, was allegedly pushed from the balcony of his sixth-storey flat in Bangkok on June 13, 2013.

James Anthony Durnan, 23, believed to be from Liverpool, is standing trial for Darrens murder.

But Darrens parents Gary and Linda today spoke of their heartbreak after learning Thai judges have adjourned the case until January 19 and let Durnan come home to spend Christmas with his family.

Family devastated after alleged murderer walks free from Thai court

Accused killer James Durnan is now free to return to the UK

The family of Darren Taylor, the Liverpool man killed after being pushed from a balcony in Thailand, are “devastated” after a man who was accused of his murder walked free from a Thai court with a £30 fine and a two-month suspended sentence.

James Anthony Durnan, 23, from Garston, is now free to come back to the UK after being found not guilty of Mr Taylor’s murder.

He was told to pay a £30 fine after being found guilty of drugs charges and received a suspended sentence for assaulting Darren’s pregnant girlfriend.
