Gone
Some of you seem pretty jealous if you ask me. Pra Kajonwat purchased his lottery tickets the day before he was ordained as a monk on 15th June. On 16th June he was ordained and also found out about his lottery win. So HE did nothing wrong. The missing monk, who was ordained 8 months ago, is likely to be disciplined by the Chief Abbot of the Temple, should he return, as he purchased the lottery tickets after his ordination which is not permitted, according to other Monks we spoke with at the Temple. Do you think he really cares? Believing in Buddhism is 1 thing but living poor is another. I say chok dee !!!!
PoodMaiDai
Good for them. And it's a good thing they are monks or they would be flying around the world in their own personal jet in no time.
