Sihanoukville Cambodia

Featured Replies

I am going to sihanoukville in Cambodia for sonkran.

Coul anybody give me some information about travelling from Ko Kong to Sihanoukville

I hear they have a boat and bus service but I don't know how frequent they are.

I took this route last year from Sihanoukville to Ko Kong, took about 2 hours I think , pretty good journey. My advice would be to take a motorbike taxi from the Cambodian border crossing to the ferry about 15 mins and $2-3 I think...

you will NOt escape the nice waterthrowing there, its Khmer=buddist=also the sama-same!

2.only 1 daily boat, 15 US$ or 600 BT (at last count, maybe more now=nam man paeng) at 8.00 (sharp) from KK.

3.can reach this by taking nightbus at 23.00 either from Mochit (yes, really) or Ekamai. Do, DO reserve before in the mad s-kr crush!, minibus at TRAT to border=100, then motosai, after having done your bodercrossing at full leisure.

4.since a year or 2 also share minibuses/more ''pickup camry at Khmer side, price is subject to our old BKk taxi before they put the ''meter'' on: haggling. expect about same as boat, VERYbad road (dusty after this dry times) till half way
