Was living in Pattaya but moved to Bangkok 2 months ago. What is my options regarding where I do my 90 day report. Can I still do in Pattaya or do I have to do in Bangkok?

You need to do in Bangkok and transfer your extension paperwork here if this is your new residence - so extra form to fill out reporting your change of residence.

You should also fill in a TM28 form showing your change of address to Bangkok.

According to my reading of the TM28 form, the OP should have done this within 24 hours of his move to Bangkok. Is he likely to find himself in hot water with Immigration as a result?

This query comes up reasonably often in this forum. The law states something to the effect that should report change of address within 24 hour of moving. But (my analysis of the consensus of opinions here is that) in practice, notify of change of address (TM28) when doing 90day report.

One of the main reasons to undertake these notifications is that, in the event of a natural disaster, your relations may contact your government, wanting to know if you are still in the land of the living. So your embassy will have to contact Immi here. AA

It is recommended the OP be prepared to make all required reports:

1. TM 28 change of address

2. TM 30 House Master report

3. TM 47 90 day report
