Maybe Findig in Airport Plaza (they used on my daughter a few years back when she was quite small and hard to find shoes for) - no idea if available for adults though. Other than that I would suggest a proper cobbler and get them tailored then they would use one (or at least measure properly).

Thanks for the information. I'll check at Findig. Unless I am mistaken, the device only comes in one size and it is used for fitting adults and children.

It was a small one they used on the girls - so probably similar rather than identical device. Certainly would not fit my clown's feet (11.5 UK/46 Thai/15US)

I stand corrected. Just went to the Brannock webpage (I must have missed it before) and they not only have a child size device but also a women's device in addition to the men's device. Who would have thought?

As one who has long been in the footwear business, my view is that the Brannock device has been made obsolete by the declining lack of standards in shoe sizing between manufacturers. I do have a used one I could ship to you from the US, but (1) it is in US sizing and (2) postage rates are now ridiculous.

Hi Johpa

Thanks for the offer but shipping would be a bit much. I do agree with you that shoe sizing standards have slipped. I mainly wanted to get a current gage of my foot size more to act as a starting point. When I was in my late 20s/early 30s, I wore somewhere between a US 9 to 9-1/2. Now I am in my early 60s, it is closer to a 10-1/2. Between age and doing a lot of walking, my feet have, as expected, gotten bigger.
