not one specific dish (except maybe pumpkin soup with a scallop in it) but Casa Pascal is a favorite eatery of mine as is Mantra,

same goes for Horizon at Hilton, Royal Grill Room at Royal Cliff and Mata Hari

It depends what kind of cuisine, for the french one : "Au Bon Coin "

Indeed, maybe not the best food in Pattaya, but maybe the best bid for the price paid.

Biscuits and gravy and eggs at the Moonshine Bar in Jomtien.

Yes - went there with my wife earlier this month because we could not find another restaurant serving imported oysters ( on a Monday night)

We ordered the oysters ( fin declaire) and a poached Canadian lobster , all very well prepared,presented and very good service too , spoiled a little by the Thai businessmen yabbering on their phones.Not cheap but a quality place for sure.

Thanks for the update on Bruno's Stailmanki. I have good memories of it at the old location and haven't been to the new one. Anybody have any experience having lunch there?

Blue Olive is on my list to try. The menu looks interesting!

I think asking for specific DISHES is a brilliant twist on talking about good local food.

As is clear from that, that's different than talking about entire restaurants.

the forum topic did not mention anything about restaurants, it says "best food in Pattaya". also i have never charged any guests for food and drinks consumed in my house and i'm quite sure neither did my wife.

Another vote here for Cafe des Amis. Excellent food, service, ambience etc
