canman Posted June 26, 2013 Share Posted June 26, 2013 I have stayed in a few 5 star hotels in Thailand which have a balcony and have also visited people in condos with balconys. One thing I noticed is that the balcony top railings are in a lot of cases too low. I am 6ft and some of these top railing just come up to mid thigh. I wonder how many of these balcony dives are in fact accidents with the low top railing being a major contributing factor? Does Thailand have any regulations specifiying the minimum height of a balcony railing? In Australia for example the min height is 1000mm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
