Best way to advertise as a private Eng teacher in BKK

A question for English tutors and Private teachers working in the central BKK area.

How do you advertise your services (other than word of mouth), of course?

Is there a bulletin board or classified somewhere online that students check often? Is there a service or online newspaper that posts free ads? Where is the best place to advertise homemade flyers in BKK?

thx

If you can write Thai,or have a Thai friend to do it for you,put an ad on any of the free Thai advertising sites.Pantipmarket and a few other sites offer a free service.......Your Thai mates should know what sites are best.Just make sure the ad is in Thai!

I did it a couple of years ago and had 5-6 calls within 30 minutes!

Good Luck!

Making ads in Japanese, Korean or Chinese and puting them around areas like Villa Market on Sukhumvit might help you. I never tried advertising, but it couldn't hurt. Once you get just one contact, and they like the way you teach, you'll never need to advertise again. They will tell a friend who tells two friends.....and so on.
