55bulldog Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Is this a big holiday weekend? So big that transportation shuts down or completely altered? I am outside of BKK(some what near Mo Chit) and was wondering if I could casually show up at a bus station or mini-bus hub and catch a ride to Surin on Friday evening or Saturday morning and then return Tuesday.
craigt3365 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 You should be able to find transport, but it could be a long wait. I'm sure Friday PM the roads will be at a standstill getting out of BKK. We showed up at the bus station the day after Songkran ended in Khorat. Took us 3 hours to get a seat on a bus. And we were lucky. Others waited longer. Roads were packed and the journey was extra long. I think you might do better with this over in the Bangkok forum. How about we move it over there, OK? Topic Moved.
