It's good to be Thaksin's nephew the PM's son a spoiled rich kid.

When too much is never enough!

Remember when Mr. T was PM people would say they didn't believe he would be corrupt as he didn't need to be as he was rich enough as it was.

If true then it's totally sick. I hope John Terry tells them to bugger off (which if he found out he would probably do).

No, he would ask how good looking the mom is, have her meet him after the game. Nah he only goes after his team mates wife

Notice that there is no denial that the PM's son has got the job.

A government spokesman said... “Everything was done according to procedure.” That would be the standard PTP procedure of spreading cheeks and kissing Shinawatra butt - nepotism is the only game in town.

Chelsea F.C. surely have an FB page or similar so they can be informed of this disgraceful behavior.

Chelsea FC won't give a monkey's about this issue.

Only in soccer is the practice of having kids walk out with the players condoned. Rather childish for a silly game.

its called football.atleast get it right, better than rounders,,?coffee1.gif

Even if this story is completely wrong it's so easy to believe because of the way this country and those who have clout operate.

Wonder when the boy's father will be threatened with a lawsuit ?

Shortly after he loses his job, his house is confiscated and his bank accounts frozen.

"But the official, who did not want to be named, acknowledged that most of the mascots were the children of VIPs or Singha executives."

A totally transparent drawing of names gave us as result some kids whose parents are the more ardent Singha beer drinkers rolleyes.gif

BTW interesting to see that the link in the OP is to a report in a South African news site.

Government kids should be given the RED card

This government got installed by playing the Red Card.

They would think it was a compliment.

Reading posts here all I can see is a mixed feeling--understandable when the report on the subject implied or I think a lesser motals child had been deleted for Yinglucks.

I would love to know who the original kids were it was stated they were still selected from vip families.

So the topic is a sort of wind up.

For gods sake can we have more true facts before posts/topics are put in the forum.

At leased then we would get better replies that have meaning.

From the Oxford Dictionary:

soccer

Pronunciation: /ˈsɒkə/

The international game is administered by the International Football Federation (FIFA), which is responsible for the World Cup

I guess this is what you should expect in a dictatorship, gross nepotism is nothing new with a Thaksin government.

I am suprised Yingkuck hasnt stated she will sue and start criminal proceedings against the people who started this rumour...

its called football ok..!....its only referred to as soccer by some funny European/south American nations and the colonial cousins...The game was invented in the UK and they call it Football...so football it is..

What the colonial cousins call football..is actually Rugby with cissy pads on

The Brits actually used the name soccer first: http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2010/06/the-origin-of-the-word-soccer/

And those "sissy pads" actually allow for much higher impacts; it's the same principle of putting boxing gloves on, which protect the fragile bones in the hand. If (American) football players didn't wear helmets and shoulder pads, the tackling would be far less violent as they'd have to exercise caution so as not to inflict self-injury.

I wouldn't be inclined to walk into a UK pub and call it soccer, but thanks for the warning wink.png

And, no, I didn't confirm your point. I'm saying the tackles in American football are far more violent than those in rugby. (Though rugby is an awesome sport, wish it was as popular in the U.S.)
