I'm not aware of any high prevalence of needle sharing for the legitimate medications transgender people use. Do you have any evidence of that?

Seems you have partly resolved the mystery. I did some more digging and its not aids or drugs that kill them. It could be cancer from the hormones or they just give up taking the hormones and become male looking again. Seems you were onto something with your hormones. I had not known this before and did a bit more searching as I was really curious what was the real reason.

Seems it is that at some age they either stop taking their hormones or take the cut and stop the testosterone from flowing and stay looking female.

Hmmm.... In the real non-Thai world, a woman trapped in a man's body occurs at some infinitesimal percentage of the population. In Thailand the rate seems to be 20 times higher. How do you explain that??

My personal feeling is that this " conversion" is nothing more than a way to make money, with some exceptions. The incredible crime rate of lady boys as a group is proof of that. In Pattaya and in Chiang Mai, when the police want to cut crimes against tourists, first thing they do is round up the lady boys.
