Bangsue RR Station Construction from Taopun MRT Station

Not the increase in ridership from the Purple Line at Taopun! Elimination the bus transfer, and long Bangsue station walk, did wonders.

I have travelled extensively on SRT and always enjoy the thrill and excitement of riding 3rd class, sitting on the steps of the open doorways, always handy as I was a smoker back then, standing at the back of the train with just a piece of chain between you and the track , and of course the squat toilet  I can't use one in normal circumstances let alone on a moving train :giggle: Unfortunately I seem to have mislaid some of my old photo files, they maybe on an old machine, I will investigate.

I have also been fortunate enough to travel at the other end of the spectrum, the Eastern and Oriental Express from Singapore to Bangkok, I hope you will enjoy this set of pics from earlier this year.
