How did you do it ?
Bangkok is a better option to meet Thai women who are not just looking for a sponsor - but those old style values that us foreign men appreciate all come at a price. She will be caring, look after and spoil her man, make an effort to look and dress cute, be feminine and will not try to compete with you, and can cook too. She will look after you, spoil you, devote her life to you (and her Mother of course) ... but in return you are expected to look after her. She may have a decent job, but most Thai salaries are low, so she'll expect you to pay for the big ticket items. But if you want a totally independent woman who pays her own way but treats you like garbage - go back home. -

Land border entry: Do I need an agent (or worst case e-Visa)?
Although not an expert to the degree others are, I am adding some additional points since my own circumstances have some common points. @DrJack54, et.al. can chime in if I am wrong. Since you intend to get another non-B, you need to ensure you don't do anything that would jeopardize your next non-B visa. Number one, ensure that you leave the country before midnight 28 January to avoid overstay. Number two, ensure that your current employer cancels your work permit with the Department of Labor and provides you documentation of the cancellation. As I understand, failing to do either of these might impact non-B process down the road. -

Visa Agencies vs. Self-Service Border Runs – Is There a Real Benefit?
As long as the current relaxed visa waiver scheme goes on, not much point to spend extra money on the broker. In the past, I have relied on those agents a few times though. After September 2006, Thai immigration started to become much less friendly toward the long term visa-waiver(visa run) expats. Saying no continuous stay more than 90 days out of 180 in a year(in case of visa-free entrants). Then a lot of peoples started to switch to Tourist Visa(from Thai embassy in the neighboring countries). Eventually, Thai embassies started to limit the numbers of the Tr Visas they issue to one foreigner. I actually know someone who got No More Tourist Visa To You Stamp on his passport back in 2013. And it turned even worse after military takeover in the summer of 2014. Visa-waiver entry was allowed only Twice in One Calendar Year. They also started to demand additional papers to apply for the Tr Visa at their embassies as well(return ticket, hotel reservation etc). That practice went on till the end of its regime in 2023. Compared to the 2008-2023 period, their visa policy changed completely as you can see today...
