Thai Chi Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 I have been reading up on Citizenship by Descent on the Australian Immigration site. It all seems quite straightforward and just a matter of getting a few documents together. However, one of the requirements is for "Certified True Copies" of various items. (Passport/Birth Cert etc etc) Now, I realize that if I was in Australia, this would just be a matter of taking the originals to a JP. and having the copies stamped and signed. Have any Aussies been there, done that, here in Thailand? And if so, how did you go about it. Any info, greatly appretiated
astral Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 A Thai lawyer can Notorise documents for you and this is acceptable in many countries, eg the UK. Alternatively the Thai Foreign Ministry will perform the service for a nominal charge. Check with the OZ embassy what it required.
