I am looking for a gas clothes dryer in the Phetchabun area. With the rainy season in full force, my wife hangs clothes on the line and it takes 2 days for them to try and, I have a allery to mold and mildew and it's killing me. I have looked at Makro, Home Pro, Lotus and Big C. nothing. Also a couple of the local appliance stores. I can travel to Phisanulok easily so anything there would be helpful.

thanks

I searched for gas clothes dryers a few years ago in Australia to do the restaurant laundry and there was only one company that made them and that was Kleen Maid , the company from the States , who makes most of the commercial laundry equipment world wide. They market under a couple of names but still the same parent company.. Not cheap but installation was the problem - had to have special flus to the outside of the building so unless you can place it next to an external wall and knock a hole in the wall it would be a very expensive install.

They are much more efficient and cheaper to run than electric once installed. That is why commercial laundries in hospitals and hotels run gas dryers.

my house has 2 floors. 1/3 of the house is on the ground level and 2/3 raised on stilts. I would just put it on the tile floor under the upper floor.

I have owned bth gas and electric dryers before. gas are much more efficient and, with no heating element, tend to last a lot longer. I am assuming that a gas dryer would use bottled gas just like the stoves and ovens purchased here.

thanks for the leads though. I will look around some more.
