negreanu
Anyone know a cheap lawyer in BKK that can quickly produce a letter stating that a Thai National is my common-law wife and living together with our son. Some of the higher profile law firms on here are quoting 15,000thb for a 1 paragraph letter.....hmmm..
jpeg
Do it yourself and have it just notarised. Thai 'lawyers' are the pits.

Trembly
Do it yourself and have it just notarised How would a Thai national go about doing that? I have no clue. I'd go directly to the family courts. They're bound to be packed with lawyers, state-employed or otherwise. I'm no expert but in my experience, if you can get these bits of paper sorted out Thai-style through low-level official channels it usually costs nothing more than small change.
