Spoken To Allianz HQ in BKK, Get automated message "please press 9 for English" No chance, got transferred to three people, they couldn't even understand my policy number, insisted I was someone else ie "you Mr Somjai yes ?" Then they hung up ! Wont be renewing with ALLIANZ I guess, any English speaking companies out there ? Cheers SB
cooked Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I must admit that if I didn't have a Thai wife I wouldn't have moved to Thailand because of this kind of stuff. She makes the walls shake when she thinks she is getting a short deal. You need to find a local rep. that speaks reasonable English and will take things over for you.
Popular Post AAInsuranceBrokers Posted July 30, 2013 Popular Post Posted July 30, 2013 Hi SB I’m afraid your experience is not unusual in Thailand but you should have been given a 24/7 “”help line” to call – and they “should” have an English speaker (somewhere). As professional Brokers we can have problems at times, and we know who to call and how to get through to them, so I can sympathise with you. In all the AA Insurance Brokers offices we speak English so do call us for quotes when you need to renew. HERE 3
