I'm surprised to see that the court ruling regarding Grace International School losing their fight to keep their school hasn't been reported here. Unfortunately it seems that even with the supportive backing of higher authorities they have been unable to keep usage of the former World Club moobahn clubhouse buildings as their school premises. Instead it will be returned to the neighbourhood association.

This is a real shame as the school provides an excellent discount priced education for many needy blonde pale skinned American missionary children; and Korean missionary children too. They also offer full priced education for some Thais. I hope they can find suitable premises soon and so continue this vital public service ;-)

So Grace telling the court that they were doing what God told them to do didn't impress the judges enough. I hope NSA publishes those conversations between Grace management and God, maybe Snowden has them.

When the first court decision was made (2009?) Grace began fund raising for an new school and later there was talk that they had a piece of land for the new school further South.

Good the homeowners there get their clubhouse back and get compensation.

​I might be more sympathetic if the Thai kids were getting the discount priced education instead of the kids of the religious parasites missionaries. If they were back where they came from doing productive work (or even if they continued to not do productive work), most would be entitled to free public education. Of course there, they would probably choose homeschooling so that the kids are properly indoctrinated.
