BANGKOK: -- A woman accused of stealing her girlfriends' iPhones after seducing them was arrested at Central Ramindra mall yesterday.

The victims said that Pornpimol Boonyakarn, 26, disappeared with their devices while on separate dates with the women.

Pornpimol, who identifies as a tomboy, flirted with the victims on the social chat network Line and claimed her father was an influential soldier to gain their trust.

I disagree with the reference to her being a Tomboy. It is demeaning to to a person's choice, and demonstrates the immaturity of the reporter and editor.

I disagree with the reference to seducement. It is demeaning and over judgmental towards two strangers, who meet and begin a conversation for any reason. This, also, demonstrates the immaturity of the reporter and editor.

Stripping those two feeble-minded factors away, there is not much to this story. It is simply another page in the book of people's lives and what goes on in them.

Lesson: It doesn't matter who you talk to, but if you let your personal things out into the open, they will be vulnerable to ill intent.
