egeefay Posted April 14, 2006 Share Posted April 14, 2006 Someone posted information about a new hospital coming to Hua Hin "The hospital is being built on the grounds of the old Hua Hin Hospital which has moved to temporary quarters across the street. The hospital is being built for the King and the top floor is reserved for the Royal Family. The remaining floors will be open to the public and the doctors will be the best in the Kingdom. Doctors will spell each other off for a month at a time, coming from Siriraj, Chulalongkorn...all the best hospitals in Thailand will send doctors to Hua Hin. It will be a world-class medical facility." The cranes can be seen from my garden so yes, it is happening. Fancy sea roads may be cancelled but anything concerning HM cannot be cancelled -- not even by Mr T! No one knows when the hospital will actually open but the signposts are already in place on Petchkasem Road -- including one that refers to the famous 'Truma Center'!
