Whom will we get as Vice President?

Going on past history it could be Arnold Swartznickers. :D

Although I seem to remember reading somewhere that because he was not actually born in the good old USA he is barred from standing :o

Thought it was the land of the free etc.and all were judged = and could achieve whatever???

Not a very inspiring choice. Not sure Cheney will be on the ticket this time around. Republicans are looking beyond this election, and need someone who can prepare for 2008.

There are some local laws barring anybody from becoming president if not born in the country. Remember Kiesinger? He spoke English as well as Arnie, but could not be Prez.

Maybe, as somebody suggested, the law should be changed, 20 years citizen and Arnie would be elegible. But than, who wuld vote for him?

It would take a constitutional amendment to change the requirements for a person to become president in the USA. Article II, Section I, clause 5 states the requirement of the individual being a natural born citizen, to be 35 years of age, and to have lived at least 14 years in the country.

There was a bit of a ruckus about Eisenhower when he ran, since he had been out of the USA for some time during WWII. Not sure how they tried to raise the issue or how it was negated, but obviously it was, since he was successfully elected and served.

It'll follow you where ever you go - can't get away from it... :o

Mickael Savage.

With such a name, he's predestined to the position.

Actually, I'd like to see Oliver North in the White House. Now that's a genuine stand-up guy. Vietnam war hero, took the fall for Regan and I'll bet he doesn't watch any Jane Fonda movies either! :o

Actually, Dick Cheney is exactly the guy you need: the perfect mobster

Ralph Nader is running again but has he got any realistic chance?

What was the name of that car...Ford Pinto meanthinks :D and who was the runner up to the monkey? :o

It's great that Nader is running as that splinters the Democratic vote. GWB probably wants to put a lip-lock on Ralph about now! :D
