Try the 'Acoustic-Shop' - my violin came apart due to excessive humidity and they did a fine repair job....and later a slipped sound post was installed for free. Nice ,well-educated english speaking husband and wife own the shop.

The shop is located near the Main bus station; I forget the name of the main road that goes from the Ping river to the bus station, turn right at the 2nd intersection Before the bus station, this is 'Tunghoten' rd that leads to the Export-Centre, look for the Acoustic Shop sign on the right-hand side of the road about 300m down, it is located in a small ski on the left. Apparently closed on Monday /Tuesday.

Good Luck

There is a luthier of sorts, located right behind Maximum Sound (on the side street, connected to the same building). I have taken several guitars to him and I highly reccommend him. He did some great work for me. pg
