Hey guys,

My girlfriend will be visiting me in Canada this October. She will be travelling with a Canadian tourist visa.

Her flight plan is:

Bangkok-Brussels-Montreal on the way over.

She's heading back Montreal-Heathrow-Bangkok...

Just curious if she will need any transit Visas for those two countries

Any info is much appreciated, i'm a bit stressed at the moment. Forgot about possible transit visas before I booked the flight.

Thanks in advance,

NIck

Transiting from flight to flight without passing through immigration for the country where transit is done is not a problem.

Only if flights are not set up for transit or time in transit exceeds the allowed amount of time is there a need for a visa to enter the country.

You have to be careful when arranging flight to insure that transit is possible.

Many flights on low cost airlines do not have arrangements with other airlines that are often needed to transit. Checked luggage transfer being the most common problem.
