Toyota servicing

Featured Replies

Good afternoon,

This topic has been covered previously (though a year or 2 ago) so I would like to ask for any 'updated' opinions on the below:-

1. Which of the 2 Toyota dealers in Pattaya (Sukhumvit Road / Banglamung) would the TV members recommend for scheduled maintenance (1000km first service)?

2. Some people have said that for their first service after 1 month / 1000km (as per Toyota manual) that they didn't get their oil changed. What opinion have TV members on this i.e. would they advise to get the oil changed and filter for this first service regardless?

3. I have had new alloys / 20 inch wheels put onto the pickup a week after receiving the truck. Should I ask to get the truck balanced properly?

Any other advice greatly recevied as for those who know my previous posts will know that my knowledge on all things cars is somewhat limited.

Many Thanks

Richy

we got the oil changed but they charged us, about 1000 baht I think it was

1000km oil and filter thumbsup.gif . You might have stuffed your warranty if you have a drive train prob by changing the wheels. sad.png

Thanks....yeah I had asked a few people about this but as one TV member said, you can drive a 'plain Jane' pickup or just enjoy it and drive what you want to drive...hopefully nothing goes wrong...have you heard of anydrive train probs with Toyotas?
