Making war on corruption

Featured Replies

He successfully prosecuted Mr T. And lived. That's go to be worth an honourable mention.

Yes it is.

He may have successfully prosecuted Thaksin but that work was undone when Mr T got away with his 'honest mistake' via a few 'got at' judges.

Still, he did his best and deserves some praise for that.

It matters not to many posters if this man is sincere and tried his best to carry out his duties. Juvenile comments about his "affluent appearance", having "failed miserably", etc. are of questionable validity. Opinions are certainly everyone's right, but without verifiable sources to backup those opinions, they are hardly believable and on the surface, appear to baseless ramblings.

As i understand it he survived a full 36 years swimming with the sharks, bent or not thats quite an achievement.

At least he DID make a substantial dent in it, obviously !

This Kingdom needs 1,000 chaps like him and then, perhaps, things might even look different . . . . . .

Please try to remember that, in the UK, things were very similar (to today's Thailand) not all that long ago; ever heard of Robin Hood ? ? Well; he stole from the rich landlords and gave back to the poor peasants.

If he spent his entire career fighting corruption........he failed miserably!

robin hood lived around the time of the founding of sukhothai... "not all that long ago" you say... :)

I actually feel for the guy. He dedicated his life to fight against something that will only die when the human race is going to cease existing.
