Short & Sweet Can One Visa Refusal Affect A Second App

can being refused once adversely affect a second application later when you have more of a chance such as own property, have company, married etc.

Can it hurt your chances in the future if you try before your application is absolutely foolproof?

Wondering whether to cancel an April 27th appointment and try next fall instead?
